AFTERCARE BOTOX FOR HYPERHIDROSIS

Aftercare Instructions for Botox for Hyperhidrosis

After your Botox treatment, you can return to most of your regular activities immediately. However, there are a few aftercare instructions to ensure you achieve the best possible results:

AVOID STRENUOUS EXERCISE FOR 24 HOURS –

This helps prevent the spread of Botox from the injection site to non-target muscles.

DO NOT APPLY PRESSURE OR MASSAGE THE TREATED AREA –

This could potentially cause the Botox to move to an unintended area.

AVOID HOT BATHS, SAUNAS, OR HEAT EXPOSURE FOR 24 HOURS –

This can increase the risk of bruising.

Avoid underarm deodourant containing aluminum for 1-2 weeks if possible.

USE A COLD PACK FOR COMFORT –

Some people may experience minor discomfort or slight bruising at the injection site. A cold pack can help reduce these symptoms.

KEEP HYDRATED –

Drinking water helps to maintain your overall health and also aids in the recovery process.

REPORT ANY SIDE EFFECTS –

Side effects are rare but can include temporary muscle weakness or mild pain at the injection site. If you notice any unusual symptoms, please contact our clinic immediately.

Remember, Botox treatment for hyperhidrosis offers temporary relief. You will need to schedule regular follow-up treatments to maintain your results.

Our nurses are here to guide you through this process and help you manage your hyperhidrosis effectively. Please contact us to schedule a consultation or if you have any questions about the treatment. We look forward to helping you achieve a more comfortable and confident life.
