Michelle’s Graduation!

Michelle completed the Masters in Nursing (MN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) program through the University of Athabasca in April of 2019. She plans on focusing on Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Wellness. She thanks all of her family, friends, and clients for their support and patience.

What are nurse practitioners?
Nurse practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses who have additional education and nursing experience, which enables them to:

• Autonomously diagnose and treat illnesses
• Order and interpret tests
• Prescribe medications
