Let Us Improve Your Skin’s Tone and Texture With Venus Viva
What is Venus Viva?
Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments involve tiny pins that safely and non-invasively deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny thermal micro-dermal wounds, which the body naturally heals on its own. This process repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
Your treatment provider may also enhance your treatment plan with the DiamondPolar™ applicator, which works to further reduce lines and wrinkles.
What is the Venus Viva treatment good at treating?
SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
Venus Viva™ is safe for all ethnicities, even for darker complexions.
LOW TO NO DOWNTIME:
Initially you may look and feel sunburned. However, most clients can usually return to their daily skin care routines 24 hours after.
Sessions last only 15-30 minutes.
The ideal candidate is anyone who shows signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, and/or anything else that affects the skin’s texture.
For safety reasons, you may not be able to get this treatment if you have/are:
Most clients receive 3-4 treatments per treatment area. The exact number will depend on each individual, beauty goals, and the area being treated.
You will feel tiny pins on your skin (prickly to a cats rough tongue) followed by a little zap. Your face will then feel warm, like a sunburn.
Venus Viva™ treatments may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. You’ll feel intense heat, similar to the feeling of sunburn, and your face will look red right after the treatment. For more aggressive treatments, you may get a topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort.
Your skin will be red and feel warm afterward, like a sunburn. You can ease this by fanning or exposing the area to cool air. Within the first 24 hours, only apply topicals that have been recommended or prescribed by your treatment provider. The warm feeling should go away within 24 hours.
Yes, but only for 24 hours post-treatment (or up to 5 days for more aggressive treatments), unlike lasers or other treatments where recovery or downtime lasts up to 10 days. Your skin will be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, you may put on makeup and resume your regular skin care routine. You should always apply an non-chemical sunscreen (at least SPF 30) to maintain your results and prevent sun damage. Avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.
After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve. However, one touch-up session may be needed approximately every 6 months, depending on how your skin responds.
If your skin feels hot, you can use a fan to cool it down. Avoid touching or scratching the treatment area. For the first 24 hours, only apply products that are expressly recommended by your treatment provider, as there are many topicals that could cause severe irritation. After 24 hours, you should apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30), preferably one without chemicals. Also avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.
No. You should wait till 24 hours after your treatment to apply any makeup or lotion. Some topicals or skin care may be recommended by your treatment provider, and anything you apply should be done in-office or prescribed by them.
