What is laser hair reduction?
Laser hair reduction at DermNurse uses the InMode DiolazeXL. It is a hair removal solution offering peak power with optimal speed and depth (800 to 810 nm), with built-in safeguards that keep sessions comfortable and relatively pain-free. It is safe for skin types up to VI. For optimal results, 6 to 8 treatments may be required. It is not very effective on light, white or grey hairs.

A consultation is required before your first treatment, for your safety.
Test spot
For safety, a test spot is done before treating new clients. This may add 15 minutes to the first treatment.
Treatment
The time depends on the surface area: armpits, chin or upper lip generally take 10 minutes, lower legs 15 to 20 minutes.
Recovery
Usually little to no downtime.
Course
Hair regrowth usually occurs between 4 to 6 weeks on the face and 6 to 8 weeks on the body, which is when you come back. 6 to 8 treatments may be required.
Maintenance
After 6 to 8 treatments, any regrowth can be managed with touch-up treatments every 6 to 12 months.
